Fashion, beauty and lifestyle media specialist Fashion Insight has acquired the Fashion4Media and Beauty4Media databases from their parent company News4Media, for an undisclosed sum.London-based Fashion Insight was co-founded in 2009 by fashion label founder Diana Young, and provides news and events intelligence, editorial alerts and media contacts to a subscriber base of more than 6,000 registered users.
Young says the acquisitions will strengthen the company's customer base, reinforce its position in the market and offer access to a larger database of industry professionals. News4Media agreed to the sale in order to focus its entire UK operations on its two sites Homes4Media.com and Property4Media.com, but following the sale will retain ownership of the Beauty4Media.com and Fashion4Media URLs.
