BARB Grows Team as its Role Expands

UK television measurement body BARB has announced two new appointments to help deliver its expanding range of services: Paul Smith joins as Project Manager and Sonja Ajdin as Research Manager.

BARB Grows Team as its Role ExpandsIn addition, the organisation has promoted Joe Lewis to Deputy Research Director from Project Director.

Smith joins from independent media audit watchdog ABC, where he was responsible for technical consultancy and client support, including developing new standards in audit and analysis products within the online media environment.

Ajdin, who brings in-depth experience of broadcast analysis, joins from RSMB and will focus on 'the continuing accurate and timely delivery of BARB's expanding services to advertisers and broadcasters'.

The hires double the size of the BARB research team under Research Director Simon Bolus, and come as the body gears up for the delivery of Project Dovetail, which brings in viewing on devices other than the TV; as well as tender processes for contracts from 2019 onwards.
