VisitBasis Launches Mobile Big Data Tool

In the US, mobile data collection and field representative management software specialist VisitBasis Tech has launched a platform for compiling and analyzing large amounts of data.

VisitBasis' software solution consists of an office application for managers and a mobile app for field reps, and works in both online and off-line modes. Uses include store audits and customer surveys, tracking of on-shelf availability and competitor prices, and to monitor field activities in real-time. The system has been designed for use by companies that conduct regular store visits, as well as for those involved in marketing intelligence research.

The new VisitBasis Analytics tool offers a one-touch solution for visualizing compiled data in chart format, and promises to shorten and simplify the reporting process for businesses that rely on mobile data capture, such as those in the merchandising, retail auditing, and field sales sectors.
