SIM Partners Adds Location-Based Insights

November 9 2015

Location-based tech specialist SIM Partners has added a suite of insight tools to its local marketing automation platform, Velocity.

The new 'Velocity Insights' allows brands to create location-based offers and turn 'near me' mobile searches into off-line sales. The suite includes a location data management tool, a content management system to help create relevant offers, and 'a robust insights platform' to inform users' local content strategies.

The tool applies a score to users' business listings, assessing factors such as location data accuracy and reach across the most influential data publishers and aggregators. SIM Partners says a 20 percent improvement in a listing's score results in traffic to their location pages increasing up to 450 percent and on-page action conversion rates by 216 percent.

The Insights package also provides aggregated, privacy-safe portraits of site visitors, both attitudinal and demographic, to help tailor content; monitors the performance of location pages in search engines on key terms, feeding into strategy; and summarizes the performance of location pages, including referral sources, pages with a high bounce rate, dwell time and other performance trends.

CEO Jon Schepke comments: 'By providing clear insights into the true health of location data, as well as demographic, web, and ranking insights to optimize performance, we're giving our clients a competitive advantage to win in the 'near me' moments of discovery'.

SIM Partners has offices in Chicago and San Francisco and is online at www.simpartners.com .
