Dentsu Aegis Buys Czech Digital Agency Adexpres

Marcoms group Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired Czech Republic-based Adexpres Group, which provides a full range of digital services across online media planning and buying, monitoring and evaluation, and consumer targeting. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jan GalgonekFounded in 2008 and headquartered in Prague, the Adexpres Group is comprised of digital media specialist Adexpres, creative agency Bistro, social media division Bistro Social and app development studio Mobile Internet. It also has a trading desk called AdexpresOne which collects consumer data, converts it into user segments, and delivers personalised ad messages.

Following the acquisition, the Adexpres Group and its team of around 90 will be merged into Dentsu Aegis Network Czech Republic & Slovakia. The business will continue to be led by CEO Jan Galgonek (pictured), reporting to Petr Chajda, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Czech Republic & Slovakia, who comments: 'This acquisition will enable us to combine best-in-class integrated services with strong digital capabilities within a single operating model. Adding Adexpres Group to our network will generate added business value for our clients and open up new opportunities in the Czech Republic and within the region'.
