Workplace Specialist Hires Leader for New Services

In the US, employee and workforce specialist Kenneth Matos has joined consulting firm Life Meets Work, to lead the development of a range of new custom research services.

The Chicago-based firm specializes in flexible work, leadership pipeline development, and working parent coaching. Matos (pictured) joins from nonprofit research organization Families and Work Institute, where he served as Senior Director of Research, coordinating internal staff and external vendors to develop, implement and analyze national surveys. He previously worked for the Defense Manpower Data Center, latterly as Survey Psychologist.

In his new role, Matos will focus on developing custom quant and qual studies to assess and improve workforce engagement and retention. Company President Kyra Cavanaugh says of the appointment: 'Offering custom research capabilities is an important step in providing the full service consulting services our clients need to make better decisions about their workforce strategy.
