Freelancer Service SavitzConsulting Launches in US

US-based MR agency Savitz Research has set up a new company called SavitzConsulting, which will match specialist freelance consultants with clients looking for help with research projects.

Consultants can register for any one or more of twenty plus different positions and twenty plus categories of products and services in which they have at least two years' experience. They must provide detailed information about their research experience and educational backgrounds, as well as details of previous clients, with references. SavitzConsulting clients can then browse through the resumes of these consultants, and hire the most appropriate person or team hourly, for a short term assignment, for a project, or full-time.

Founder and CEO Jeffry Savitz (pictured) claims to have brought together more than 120 marketing and marketing research consultants for the new venture. Commenting on the launch, he explained: 'Clients have decreased staff budgets and lower head counts than they did before, but the number of research projects they must do and do very insightfully, has increased. The great talent and experience of our consultants coupled with the flexible delivery system offers clients real advantages in today's difficult financial times'.
