Flashpoint Gets Funds for 'Dark Web' Insights

Business intelligence provider Flashpoint has raised $10m in a Series B round of funding, which it will use to expand into the field of business risk intelligence, delivering insights from the 'dark web' across client enterprises.

Josh LefkowitzFlashpoint's technology and expertise helps clients boost cybersecurity, confront fraud and insider threats, enhance physical security, assess M&A opportunities, and address vendor risk and supply chain integrity.

The new funding round was led by Greycroft Partners, joined by new investors Jump Capital and Leaders Fund, and existing investors TechOperators, K2 Intelligence, Bloomberg Beta, and Cisco Investments. As part of the financing, former Bank of America exec Chris Camacho joins Flashpoint as Chief Strategy Officer, and Tom Hofmann joins as Vice President of Intelligence from PNC.
