New Lotame Platform Gives Access to Consumer Profiles

Data management platform (DMP) provider Lotame has launched Data Stream, which provides real-time access to 'billions' of consumer profiles from the firm's global data exchange; and the option to combine the profiles with users' own first-party data.

The data exchange profiles consumers based on activity at thousands of publisher web sites. With the addition of Data Stream, clients' in-house data science teams can seamlessly import large volumes of data to fuel applications such as targeting and personalization, generation of market and competitor insights, CRM and BI tools, and research sampling.

Founder and CEO Andy Monfried comments: 'Historically, having access to data at the level available from Lotame Data Stream has been limited to brands and their advertising agencies, with little flexibility in how the data is purchased, where it's accessible, and how it can be used... The Lotame Data Stream unlocks consumer data and removes the CPM-based pricing model to support businesses beyond digital advertising'.

Earlier this year, Lotame launched a private marketplace for audience data, and a TV viewing analytics and targeting tool called Smart TV Audiences.
