Established in the early 1970s and with bases in Lee's Summit, Missouri and Austin, Texas the organization is part of Sterling Partners' Education Opportunity Fund.

Eduventures was founded in 1996 and offers a research library, events and analytics services, with a focus on helping client institutions evaluate innovation in the sector. It sold off its education and business research division in 2008 to information industry publisher Outsell.

Patrick Vogt, CEO of NRCCUA, says the buy will drive his organization's Research as a Service initiative and give clients simpler access to research via its data platform; with the ultimate aim of lower cost and more effective education recruiting. He summarizes: 'Our mission to build enabling technology that helps colleges and universities create the real-time data-driven admissions office of the future is significantly enhanced with the addition of the Eduventures team and research library'.

Bob Blakeley, Eduventures President and COO, comments: 'NRCCUA's robust data platform and reach in the higher education marketplace will provide opportunities for Eduventures' research and solutions and significantly help Eduventures' clients'.
