In the US, Ignite Marketing Analytics has acquired ThinkVine, which offers a range of marketing science techniques, including consumer behavior modeling, econometrics and demand forecasting. Terms were not disclosed.Cincinnati, Ohio-based ThinkVine's proprietary analytics and software technology is used to drive marketing analysis, targeting, planning and forecasting, and provides marketers with historical insights across all their marketing initiatives. The firm's ThinkAhead Technology creates a virtual marketplace that simulates how targeted consumers will respond to combinations of marketing activities over time.
Enterprise software firm Ignite is based in Austin, Texas and is a member of the ESW Capital group of companies. Ignite Technologies CEO Davin Cushman (pictured) comments: 'Our acquisition of ThinkVine adds a leader in marketing analytics to our portfolio of leading-edge solutions'.
