Madison Logic Bought By Venture Capital Firm Clarion

New York and London-based B2B purchase intent data provider Madison Logic has been acquired by private equity firm Clarion Capital Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Tom O'ReganMadison Logic claims to own and provide access to the 'world's largest set of demographic and behavioral intent data' based on more than a billion interactions per month from 125 million decision-makers. Its marketing technology platform Activate ABM uses proprietary data and reach, to help marketers gain insights into their target accounts, personalize their messages and optimize programs.

As part of the acquisition, existing shareholders of Madison Logic including CEO Tom O'Regan (pictured) and co-founders Vin Turk and Chairman Erik Matlick, will maintain an ownership stake in the company, and continue to build the business in partnership with Clarion. In addition, the firm will invest further in Activate ABM, as well as in new geographic regions, staff, and acquisitions.

O'Regan will remain Madison Logic's CEO, and said of the deal: 'With this partnership, we will accelerate our growth by enhancing our current offerings to meet the needs of our growing customer base. We'll introduce our offerings into new industry verticals and we'll expand geographically to better serve our clients and the changing landscape of the media industry as a whole'.
