Further Funding for Belgian CEM Firm NGDATA

Gent, Belgium-based CEM specialist NGDATA has raised another $9.4m in venture funding, for use in accelerating sales and marketing, product innovation around its Lily Enterprise operating system, and for acquisitions.

Luc BurgelmanThe new money brings the firm's total Series B round to roughly $20 million, and was led by Idinvest Partners, with participation from existing investors. The company has also added Dominique Illien, CEO of Editions Lefebvre Sarrut (ELS), to its board. The firm raised $10.2m in October 2015, adding to $2.5m used in 2013 to establish offices near New York and San Francisco, and a further $3.3m later in the year.

Lily Enterprise captures data from a range of channels and provides real-time insights to enhance the customer experience, with a focus on clients in financial services, media / publishing and telecoms. NGDATA had an active 2016, buying Dutch analyst Rednun in October, and earlier expanding into the Asia Pacific region, with the opening of an office in Singapore.
