New Funds for Social Media Listening Firm Tracx

Israel, US and UK-based social media listening specialist Tracx has raised $12.5m in funding, which it will use to support continued sales and marketing growth, and to expand its product portfolio.

Rick RudmanTracx's solutions allow real-time relevancy analysis and data mining of social media, giving insights into customer, competitor and influencer behaviour. Analysis can be geographic, demographic and/or psychographic, and is used to identify and target influencers, improve planning and enhance monitoring.

New funding has been led by Camden Partners, with participation from Edison Partners, and brings the total raised to date to $38.4m, which includes an $18m Series C round secured in 2015. Tracx CEO Rick Rudman (pictured), who also participated in the latest round, comments: 'We are uniquely positioned with the most comprehensive listening and analytics tool, seamlessly integrated with engagement and cross-network posting. Our customers are uncovering crucial insights about their business, products, influencers and industry trends on social using our platform'.
