Communications group Havas has acquired a majority stake in Israel-based social media marketing agency Blink, which specializes in managing conversations between consumers and brands. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Founded in 2007 by Sagi Chemetz (pictured), Tel Aviv-based Blink has a team of 35 social media marketers, strategists, developers and designers, whose focus includes brand monitoring strategy and research, and social media and community management. Chemetz will remain CEO of Blink, while Alberto Canteli, Havas CEO Nordics, CEE and Middle East, will oversee the agency's integration with the group.
