Vision Critical Buys Insight Sharing Platform Pressly

September 8 2017

In Canada, communities and research technology specialist Vision Critical has acquired software company Pressly, which offers a platform for the curation and distribution of content. Details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Jeff BrennerToronto-based Pressly's platform provides users across an entire organization with a single place to find the information they need, discuss industry trends, and collaborate. It can also provide sales teams with the content they need to enhance the buyer's journey; while tapping in to networks of employees to improve the reach of an organization's content.

Vision Critical says new functionality based on the Pressly platform will enable community managers to compile and distribute insight to relevant internal stakeholders in a 'secure, accessible and easily digestible' environment. Scott Miller, CEO of Vision Critical, says this will demonstrate community members' influence on the company's decision making, and build stronger, long-term customer relationships.

According to Jeff Brenner (picture), CEO and co-founder of Pressly: 'Pressly was founded to help organizations simplify engagement among communities of their customers and employees to build better relationships. That fundamental principle is one we share with Vision Critical, and we are excited to join the Vision Critical team in pursuit of that shared vision'.
