Pulse Insights Launches Progressive Profiling Tool

In New York, micro survey platform Pulse Insights has launched a tool called Progressive Profiling, allowing marketers to supplement customer profile and preference data programmatically over time.

Pablo RojasFounded in 2012, the company offers a voice of customer (VoC) platform helping enterprise marketers understand customer needs, and collect user information for targeting purposes. The new Progressive Profiling tool asks people what their preferences are, incrementally over time, through whatever device they are using at that moment. The firm says this approach makes customers and prospects far more likely to reveal insights about themselves that are crucial to creating valuable experiences.

Pablo Rojas (pictured), Pulse Insights co-founder, comments: 'To date, companies have not leveraged explicit (user-answered) data as heavily as implicit data, because it was difficult to capture explicit profile and preference data from users. Our technology has enabled asking users for explicit data and preferences during their primary journey, which has fueled the recent progressive profiling trend. The ability to just ask users about themselves and their preferences creates the opportunity to deliver significantly more relevant marketing and deeper customer relationships'.
