Publicis Health has announced the acquisition of analytics-driven marketing agency Payer Sciences, which helps clients in the sector extract deeper insights into payer behavior. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Founded in 2009, Payer Sciences provides pharma and biotech clients with decision-support software, market research, and consultancy on education and communications. Located in Morristown, New Jersey, the firm has a team of 40 full-time data analysts, payer experts and B2B communications specialists who uncover and deliver real-time, data-driven insights on payers' influence on product market performance.
Publicis Health CEO Alexandra von Plato (pictured) says that Payer Science's proprietary technology and methods have 'practical applications for other group clients and industries' outside the biopharma sector, 'to uncover greater insights from data that will help convert payers and buyers in non-pharma categories as well'.
