Foreman Takes Senior Role at MRSS India

Bombay Stock Exchange-listed MRSS has appointed former ESOMAR President and serial NED Dan Foreman as its Executive Director.

Dan Foreman and Raj SharmaForeman (pictured left) became President of ESOMAR in the autumn of 2012, and has since taken a string of advisory and senior roles including Chairman of the Board of Directors at ZappiStore in 2014, NED at Amsterdam-based consumer insights platform Veylinx in 2016, and most recently advisor to ambitious automated consumer neuroscience platform MindProber. During twenty years of high profile activity in the sector, he has won awards from the AMA's '4 under 40' to the Ginny Valentine Badge of Courage in 2017.

Foreman says of his latest move: 'I have followed the success of MRSS for over a decade, as a client and a technology partner. I have no doubt that MRSS can bring the best the World of MR has to offer to India; at the same time showcase the best of India MR to the World. I am very excited to support the business and pioneer our next stages of growth, with investment, acquisition, innovation and sustainable profit'.

MRSS India Chairman Raj Sharma (pictured right) comments: 'It is great that Daniel is coming on Board of the Company at its current juncture. His intent is to garner interest from the International Market Research Community to join as stakeholders that will ensure the vision of MRSS is actualized'. MD Sarang Panchal adds: 'These are exciting times with Daniel coming on the Board of MRSS India. I look forward to his astute guidance in introducing leading edge technologies in Asia to complement our exisitng services. Daniel is also well aware of what clients are looking for and this will provide the leadership team at MRSS India with a world view of how research will pan out in the coming years'.

The firm is the subsidiary of Asian full service research company Majestic Market Research Support Services Ltd (MMRSS), which has a presence in eighteen countries across the Middle East and Asia Pacific region.

Two months ago MRSS India reported a 181 percent increase in operating income, to Rs. 644.5m (US$ 9.6m) for the year ended March 31st 2018, with impressive EBITDA at 31.35%; and in June DRNO reported that it had hired Retassh Bhansali as its first Global CFO, with acquisitions in mind.
