MDC Partners Creates New Media, Tech and Data Network

US-based marcoms group MDC Partners has formed a media, technology and data network, to support clients with their media strategy, planning and buying services, informed by data and analytics.

Michael Bassik and Brad SimmsMDC Partners comprises more than 50 partner-companies including a number of market research, shopper marketing and data and analytics specialists. Its new group brings together the group's data-centric media agency Assembly with GALE, a data, tech, CRM and content agency. Together, the network has offices in New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, Austin, Toronto, Singapore and Bengaluru, with a multi-disciplinary team of more than 600 employees comprising media strategy, planning, buying, data, analytics and trading experts, as well as CRM specialists, content creators, data scientists and technologists.

The new network will be jointly led by digital media exec Michael Bassik and GALE founder and CEO Brad Simms. Bassik also becomes CEO of Assembly and will oversee MDC Media Partners' portfolio of media and content agencies.
