Helsinki and New York-based behavioral and market research platform Verto Analytics has promoted Pat Brennan to CEO, replacing founder Hannu Verkasalo who moves to focus on strategic partners, customers, vendors, marketing and public image.
The core of Verto's methodology is a single-source, opt-in panel which delivers cross-device online and off-line behavioral data. In addition, the firm's measurement offering includes syndicated service Cross-Media Watch; mobile / multi-screen consumer behavior measure App Watch; and SmartPoll, which combines and compares survey data with cross-device consumer behavioral data collected through passive metering.
Brennan (pictured) joined the company two years ago as President of US operations, with more than 30 years' experience of managing and leading businesses; and more recently, he served as COO. Early in his career, he worked for ad research specialist ARS Group, latterly as VP, Client Services, prior to the firm's acquisition by Comscore in 2010. He then worked for Comscore as VP, Marketing Solutions, before joining MSW-ARS Research, formed in 2013 when MSW Research acquired the non-health copy-testing and equity tracking assets of comScore's ARS.
In his new role, Brennan will work with Verkasalo on the deployment of the firm's behavioral research strategy.
