Asian Healthcare Partnership

Consultancy SoHealthAsia and Internet application provider GMI (Global Market Insite) have announced an agreement to develop online market research services among medical professionals in Asia. The first stage, a series of trials for web-based omnibus services, is underway amongst physicians in Hong Kong.

SoHealthAsia director, Scott Davies, said 'I'm delighted to be able to announce the first step of this development, and provided that the initial trials are successful, we plan to roll the service out to a number of markets in Asia this year'.

According to Bob Chua, GMI's regional director, the companies have 'a great combination of capabilities' and are 'planning a very innovative set of services for healthcare research in Asia'.
