Digsite Debuts Pulse for Concept, Ad and Product Tests

January 22 2021

In the US, consumer insights platform Digsite has launched a quantitative solution called Pulse, for fast turnaround, early-stage concept, ad and product testing.

Monika WingateFrom its base in Madison, Wisconsin, Digsite offers a platform through which marketing, customer experience and innovation teams can engage with targeted groups of consumers to test and develop new products, services and brand communication. The new Pulse tool promises to conduct a round of ten-minute tests in as little as 24 hours, with customizable research templates and automated reporting dashboards.

Pulse uses a series of quick tasks including image mark-up, 'fill-in-the-blank' stories, and interactive voting, which it says drill deeper than traditional survey questions. Customers can set up a research study in minutes using a Pulse template for concept testing, video testing, ad testing or 'jobs to be done' research. Pulse studies can also be customised by Digsite, adding full-service design and reporting services. In addition to sample and data collection, Digsite's automated SmartDashboard provides visualization through AI-driven charts, graphs, quotes, keywords, and sentiment analysis. Pulse automates analysis including benchmarking results within or between studies and compares subgroups of respondents, while Digsite's PowerPoint downloads add editable charts allowing customized report production.

CEO and co-founder Monika Wingate (pictured) comments: 'Digsite set out to build a responsive and flexible platform that could easily handle both ten-minute studies among hundreds of respondents, as well as longer in-depth studies among smaller groups of highly targeted participants. Insights technology needs to do more than it has in the past. It needs to be faster without sacrificing quality, ultimately fostering in-depth learning, iteration, and validation'.
