More Funds for Consumer Insight Provider Adimo

Glasgow-based FMCG marketing platform and customer behaviour data firm Adimo has raised $3.6m in an additional seed round, for use in expanding its operations in the US and scaling activity globally.

Richard KellyThe firm, which also has offices in London and the US, has developed a platform which embeds shopping functionality into digital marketing campaigns and content, enabling shoppers to select products and add them directly to their online supermarket basket. The system is also used to provide brands with data on customer behaviour and decision-making and brand insights, while its real-time analytics dashboard offers a range of insights about products viewed, basket additions and revenue.

New funding comes from Maven Capital Partners, Scottish Enterprise, GWC, ESM Investments, and Galvanise Capitaland LSIP, adding to the initial £1m seed round of funding raised in 2017. Richard Kelly (pictured), founder and CEO of Adimo, comments: 'Our next-gen solution for shoppable marketing provides a seamless experience not only for the end customer, but also for the marketer, and we see tremendous opportunity to expand our wide variety of solutions in rapidly maturing markets, such as the US, over the next year.'
