SambaTV Launches Geographic / Demographic Dashboard

Cross-screen television insights and analytics provider Samba TV has launched an interactive dashboard featuring geographic and demographic analysis of viewing in real time across the world, starting with the US, UK, Germany and Australia.

Ashwin NavinThe company uses data from social media, connected devices and tens of millions of opt-in smart TV households worldwide, to help clients measure television viewing and understand its impact on consumer and purchasing behavior. Cross-platform analytics are drawn from its technology embedded in millions of smart TVs, and it uses panels 'representative of the US population' to measure TV and digital ad exposure for each household.

The new Real-time TV Viewership Dashboard enables advertisers to see what channels and shows are being watched in their city or country. The dashboard uses the company's proprietary automatic content recognition (ACR) technology to provide in-the-moment insight into viewing across markets.
