Early Funding for eCommerce Analytics Tool DataMilk

August 25 2021

In the US, artificial intelligence tool DataMilk, which automatically optimizes eCommerce store sites to improve the customer experience, has raised $1.7m in a pre-seed round of funding. The money will be used to expand its offering globally, and hire more product development execs.

Peter SzalontayFounded earlier this year by engineers, data scientists and designers, DataMilk's aim is to transform the user's experience and increase conversions for eCommerce stores. The firm's proprietary technology identifies design improvements based on users' behavior and automatically A/B tests more than 100 variations of a client's site - including button sizes, colors, font etc. With this data, DataMilk then examines these variations to pinpoint the most engaging designs.

Funding was led by big_bets, RTP Global, and Angel Invest, with participation from Matthew Freud and the founders of digital commerce platform VTEX.

The company, which is led by CEO Peter Szalontay (pictured), is online at: www.datamilk.ai .
