Funds for Behaviour Specialist Humanising Autonomy

October 25 2021

London-based human behaviour understanding and prediction specialist Humanising Autonomy has raised $11m in a Series A funding round, for use in product development, growth in new sectors and expansion into new markets in Asia, Europe and North America.

Maya PindeusHumanising combines customer-centric product design, engineering methodologies and proprietary human behaviour data sets to develop computer vision technology that can understand and predict the way we behave. Powered by patented computer-vision models the company's Behaviour AI platform offers insight, both in real time and for historical analysis, to help clients make business decisions.

New funding has been co-led by Beacon Capital and Emellience Partners, the investment arm of Nihon Unisys Group, with participation from new and existing investors, and brings the total capital raised to $17m. The investment will also be used to support organisations that use data captured from cameras; to launch products for ad effectiveness and smartphone apps; and to expand existing offerings for the automotive and dashcam industry.

Maya Pindeus (pictured), co-founder and CEO of Humanising Autonomy, comments: 'Our technology is changing how machines understand people and how businesses evaluate and extract insight from their data. We are delighted to work with our new partners Emellience and Beacon Capital in scaling our efforts in developing ethical technology built around people'.
