Seed Funds for Audience Data Firm ArcSpan

In New York, audience data solutions provider ArcSpan Technologies has raised $6m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to further develop its tech platform and AI-based data solutions, and to recruit new team members.

Art Muldoon and Garret VreelandFounded last year by former Dentsu Aegis execs Art Muldoon and Garret Vreeland, ArcSpan offers enterprise software which combines addressable audience data management solutions with digital sales tracking and optimization tools for audience-targeted ads. The firm's Audience Engine revenue optimization platform uses first-party audience data from disparate sources, with custom taxonomies, sales pathway analytics, AI tools and identity solutions available to align seller data to optimal buyer demand.

Seed funding has been supported by AperiamVentures (formerly MathCapital) and a number of industry executives. Muldoon comments: 'We are now embarking on an exciting next phase of our growth as we further strengthen our tech and operational teams, build out our Audience Engine product and expand our customer base'.

The firm has also launched an Advisory Board, with members including Jonah and Noah Goodhart, founders of viewability measurement specialist Moat, and Joe Zawadzki, CEO and founder of MediaMath.
