Medallia Partners for Hospital 'Magnet Solution'

April 22 2022

In the US, customer and employee experience specialist Medallia has partnered with Northwestern Medicine to develop a tool called Medallia Magnet Solution, automating survey administration and reporting requirements and providing hospitals with insights to help improve patient experience.

Toni LandMagnet is an accreditation program developed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to recognize organizations that develop their nursing strategic goals to improve patient outcomes. For nurses, Magnet Recognition means education and development through every career stage, and for patients it promises the 'very best care, delivered by nurses who are supported to be the very best that they can be'. Northwestern Medicine is among approximately 9% of hospitals across the nation to achieve this recognition.

The new automated, real-time Medallia Magnet Solution helps healthcare organizations to increase team engagement, drive continuous process improvement, and manage everything from survey management to Magnet-ready reporting. Features include a feedback mechanism for capturing patient experiences, more than 40 ANCC-approved survey questions, comparison benchmarks to meet Magnet reporting requirements, and Magnet-ready PDF reports.

Medallia's Head of Clinical Healthcare Experience Toni Land (pictured) says the tool 'will help hospitals deploy modern survey channels to automatically capture and share data across the organization, identify areas of improvement, close the loop faster, and address patient service recovery at scale'. She adds: 'With Medallia's focus on driving better experiences, hospitals can leverage our proven technology and best practices to surface actionable insights to increase team engagement and drive better healthcare outcomes'.
