Orthodontist CXM Software Firm ToothFairy Acquired

August 10 2022

In the US, dental practice management system provider Cloud 9 Software has acquired ToothFairy, which has developed customer experience management (CXM) software to help orthodontists utilize insights relating to potential patients. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Trude HendersonToothFairy's proprietary software has been designed to identify and understand consumer buying motivations, objections, and blockers that delay or prevent treatment, and to solve issues including losing patients to competition and winning new patients. Using the firm's software, orthodontists can understand what characteristics and behavior create conditions that produce 'high reliability' performance and 'operational excellence', with the aim of building positive emotional connections between patients and dental practices that drive loyalty.

As part of the deal, ToothFairy founder Trude Henderson (pictured) has joined Cloud 9 in the role of Director, Practice Growth Strategy. Commenting on the takeover, Henderson said: 'We are thrilled to complete our partnership with Cloud 9, a company that shares our commitment to providing customers with the modern solutions they need to help improve their competitive advantage, accelerate sales velocity, and better serve patients, thus enabling them to retain existing customers for generations to come and win new ones - sooner.'
