Shell Chooses NOP

Shell has chosen NOP World as its global agency for retail and communications research, with a major contract to manage a multi-country retail customer study covering 45 countries.

The study consolidates a number of separate surveys into a single, modular programme designed to give Shell a consistent view of customers globally. It includes brand tracking and awareness, marketing effectiveness measurement and customer satisfaction monitors.

Richard Jameson, Managing Director NOP World Business, says the study is a challenging one, 'ideally suited to NOP World's broad resources' and enabling it to 'use its global capacity to maximum effect'. According to Andrew Blazye, Shell's Head of Strategy - Global Marketing, Retail, NOP 'demonstrated real value-add in terms of understanding the market, global reach and capability combined with the willingness to maximise benefits at competitive costs. We are looking forward to the new relationship'.
