Retail Specialist Impact Analytics Raises $10m

AI-based retail, CPG and supply chain planning platform Impact Analytics has raised $10m in a round of growth funding, which it will use to continue expanding its retail solution suite, and scale its customer success, sales and marketing organizations in the US, EMEA and Asia.

Prashant AgrawalImpact offers a suite of products for planning, forecasting, merchandising and end-to-end lifecycle pricing. Teams of product industry specialists, data scientists and customer care teams deliver the firm's SmartSuite and forecasting products for assortment planning, inventory optimization, markdown optimization and promotion planning, helping retailers drive decisions with real-time insights.

New funding, which adds to a previous investment of $11m last year, and some of which will be used to open offices in London and Dubai, was led by Argentum Capital Partners IV. Walter Barandiarán, Argentum's Managing Partner, comments: 'From the empty shelves of COVID to the glut of inventory and markdowns before the holiday season, we are excited to see brands and retailers making the shift to AI and ML and turning to Impact to gain an entirely new level of decision-making to deliver to the customer'.
