Senior Appointment at ICR

International Communications Research (ICR) has recently appointed Nick Tortorello as Vice President of Public Affairs and Marketing Research. Tortorello's 35+ years in the MR industry include spells at Louis Harris, Market Facts, Total Research, Roper Starch, Guideline and Lieberman Research Worldwide.

His most recent position was VP and General Manager of Lieberman's NYC office. In his new role he will be located in new offices in New York City with Jim Fleckenstein.

Tortorello has extensive experience of attitudinal research and consulting for major corporations and non-profit organizations needing publicity for products and services, and of research into key corporate issues in both electronic and print media. He has also conducted surveys for Crisis Management and Legal purposes, and has testified before Congressional Committees, as well as various State and Federal courts as an Expert Witness on behalf of many of his clients. His extensive work on both online and international research includes landmark projective national surveys in the early 1990s over the Prodigy System.

He is a past Chairman of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), a current Counsellor-At-Large for NY AAPOR, and a member of the Marketing Research Council of New York.

As well as custom designed surveys for b2b and consumer research, ICR conducts the EXCEL consumer omnibus study, weekly among 2000 US households. It is headquartered in Media, PA and online at www.icrsurvey.com
