SAI MedPartners Buys Custom Pharma Researcher Fulcrum

Pharma and biotech insight and analytics firm SAI MedPartners has acquired Waltham, MA-based primary MR firm Fulcrum Research Group, which also focuses on the healthcare and biopharma sectors.

Erik NordhoySAI is headquartered in Reading, PA and provides strategic insights and analytics to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries across the product development lifecycle. Management of the company partnered with Northlane Capital Partners in June last year to acquire it.

Fulcrum, founded a dozen years ago, designs custom market research through direct physician and patient interviews and surveys, focusing on market dynamics, competitive advantages, product positioning and the patient journey. Its senior team including founders Erik Coats, Kelly Marino and Lucy Robin will remain in place following the transaction.
