Blend360 Buys Edinburgh's Forth Point

Columbia, MD-based data, analytics and talent solutions company Blend360 has acquired Scottish firm Forth Point, which focuses on data engineering, AI and machine learning solutions. Terms were not disclosed.

Blend360, which has more than 700 employees and offices in four US states plus India and EMEA, says it is looking to expand 'into new and existing markets in Europe'. Edinburgh-based Forth Point was established only in 2021 and delivers end-to-end data solutions to clients in EMEA, including strategy, engineering, data science and business intelligence. Industries served include energy, logistics, manufacturing and financial services.

Blend360's President of Data Science & CX Solutions Ozgur Dogan (pictured) says Forth Point brings 'world-class talent and innovative use cases in the areas of supply chain, manufacturing and operations, and will help his company to extend beyond its traditional footprint 'using data science and data engineering to optimize business performance'.

Forth Point founder and COO Will Boyle says the firm has 'partnered with clients to have a positive impact on the world while transforming their businesses through data and analytics'. He adds: 'I am looking forward to the next chapter for Forth Point as part of Blend360, and am excited to leverage their platform to build a truly special team in EMEA'.
