RAIDAR Up to Speed: Today's News in Tomorrow's Chart

MrWeb's RAIDAR real-time ranking of top companies operating in analytics, insight and data is now fully operational, and you'll see financial results, CEO changes and other items from tonight's Daily Research News reflected in tomorrow's top 40.

The service launched in December as a top 30 with a slight time lag - the charts reflected news up to 30th September. Since then we've added ten more companies, caught up with the news by building in changes from the intervening period, and added options to view the rankings with or without the effect of mergers, acquisitions and disposals: for example you can see where NielsenIQ / NIQ and GfK feature in the ranking separately or as a combined entity; or compare Verisk Analytics' position before and after its sale of Wood Mackenzie.

It's annual results season - many of the top companies in this and other sectors have year-ends on 31st December and most of those are publishing the figures about now. That makes it a good time to add another new feature, data on 2022 revenue, with the option to rank companies entirely on 2021 results or to take the latest figures for each firm, whether they're for '21 or '22, and compile from there.

To view the complete revenue table (2021) go to www.mrweb.com/raidar . To view your preferred version, select your filters (company type, HQ location and M&A options) and generate a table, then click on the column headers to sort the resulting list by Company name, HQ, 2021 revenue, latest revenue, or number of employees in relevant roles. You can hover over many figures to see how they're compiled and whether they're a published fact, a guess or somewhere in between.
