Synovate Boosts Western Europe Team

Synovate has announced three senior promotions for its Western Europe region. Peter Huijboom, previously MD of Synovate Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands becomes the region's COO; Victoria Davidson becomes its Marketing Communications Director; and Business Development Director James Mundell takes on an expanded role.

Huijboom will focus on key account management, as well as working closely with country managing directors to develop and promote client relationships. He will also take the lead in developing a number of management initiatives, in particular Synovate's specialist research practices. He will report directly to Tim Bowles, Synovate CEO for Western Europe.

Davidson was previously responsible for marketing for Synovate UK, and will now be responsible for co-ordinating marketing communications resources across the region and promoting Synovate both internally and externally. She will report to Huijboom, but continue to have joint accountability to Alicia Kan, leader of the global marketing team.

Mundell will focus his attention on developing links between business development directors and account teams across the region, and establishing best practice approaches for major business opportunities. He will also be responsible for orchestrating multi-country pitches in the region to support local business development managers.
