Wireless Appointment at NPD

The NPD Group has announced the appointment of Clint Wheelock to VP of Wireless Research for its Techworld division.

Wheelock, who will be based in the Port Washington, New York office, was most recently Director of Wireless Research for analysts In-Stat/MDR. He worked previously as Director of Product Management at Qwest Wireless and in strategic and product development roles for Qwest Communications and Qwest Broadband Services, after a stint in broadband development at GTE Corp.

He earned a BA in History from Washington & Lee University and an MBA in Telecommunications Management from the University of Dallas.

According to Sima Vasa, President of NPD Techworld, Wheelock's in-depth experience in both wireless and MR will help the company stay ahead at a time when the industry is changing rapidly.
