In the US, MR ops solutions company Metaforms has appointed Jonathan Tice as a Strategic Advisor; and has announced a new AI-based research agent which automates data processing.Headquartered in San Francisco, Metaforms provides AI agents taking over repetitive tasks from operations teams to accelerate their project delivery and improve margins. The firm says the majority of power users of Forsta Surveys (formerly Decipher) have launched Metaforms' co-pilot, which according to customer feedback reduces programming time by 70% even for higher complexity surveys. Its software also helps with sample aggregation, converting email requests into structured projects for teams to compute timeline, feasibility and pricing with AI to improve their response times. Metaforms says it will announce a new round of funding in the coming weeks, and plans to expand its support to additional survey platforms this year.
Tice brings extensive experience of scaling B2B SaaS companies, most recently Fuel Cycle, where he was Chief Revenue Officer. Earlier he oversaw global sales efforts at Decipher, before joining FocusVision, which then became part of Forsta - he served as the latter's Chief Customer Officer until 2021. He has also worked at Critical Mix, Authentic Response and Armored Things/Lambent. Since last summer he has been running his own firm, Fit To Scale, and working as a fractional CRO and Strategic Advisor.
In his new role Tice will help Metaforms to accelerate global sales growth and develop initial strategic partnerships. CEO and co-founder Akshat Tyagi comments: 'Jonathan's appointment and the continued development of our AI agents that complement research operations workflows addresses an unmet need. With Jonathan's guidance as both a strategic advisor and experienced CRO, we're well-positioned to accelerate growth and further improve insights quality and timeliness.'
