US audience researcher Arbitron has appointed Carolyn Clark as Senior Account Manager within the company's National Radio Services department. She will be the principal Arbitron contact with networks, syndicators, representative firms and other key national accounts.
Clark's role will also involve maximising revenue opportunities for National Radio Services. She will be based in New York and will report directly to Bruce Supovitz, VP, National Radio Services.
Her previous role was Director of Media and Agency sales at Nielsen//NetRatings, responsible also for overseeing top-tier clientele including advertising agencies and publishing conglomerates.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Speech and Political Science from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
