RI Strengthens African Commitment

May 4 2005

Research International has established a pan-African team to provide cost-effective coverage for clients across the continent. The set-up includes 'key hubs' in South and East Africa (Johannesburg and Nairobi). Andrew Wish, in the new position of pan-African CEO, is one of several related senior appointments.

RI says that the new pan-Africa team has 'a streamlined, networked operational approach and can conduct research at every level, from micro-local to continental', including the full range of RI's qual, quant, marketing sciences disciplines and proprietary techniques.

The team is a first for the continent - most agencies bundle African markets in with Europe and the Middle East.

According to Wish, 'Research International has long been an established presence in Africa, but this move means we can play an even stronger role in the future prosperity and expansion of all African markets. Markets in Africa continue to grow and have great potential for investors with the advantage of accurate and actionable market insights'.

The agency is online at www.research-int.com

MrWeb wholeheartedly supports the move and will also add 'Africa' as a separate regional option in news searches from today.
