FIRM Follows Launches with Strong First Quarter

Online survey & reporting software provider FIRM has released first quarter results, showing revenue up 34% on the year to $3.9m in Q1 2005. During the quarter, FIRM added two new modules to its flagship package Confirmit: conjoint-based product and ad optimizer Confirmit IdeaMap, and multi-mode survey system Confirmit CAPI.

EBITDA was $287,000 compared with $97,000 12 months previously. During last year, FIRM grew revenues rapidly, by 37% to $13.2m, and delivered EBITDA of $1.1m. the company is aiming for a listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE) this year.

Chairman Lars Ahlberg described the results as very pleasing, adding: 'In 2005, FIRM has already won several strategic accounts in Europe and US, and we feel comfortable that we can increase our growth even further throughout the year'. According to VP of Marketing Kjell Øksendal, the two new releases serve to increase Confirmit's footprint and 'represent a broader platform for future revenue streams... As the world's leading vendor in our space, FIRM is in a unique position to introduce new products and services, and acquire further market share'.
