Change Leader to Chair SSI

Survey Sampling International (SSI) has announced the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board. Robert 'Kam' Kamerschen is a former President and/or CEO of companies such as Max Factor, Christian Dior and RKO/Six Flags, and holds current board positions with IMS Health and RadioShack, among others.

Kamerschen, a change and transformation leader and a highly experienced outside director of public and private companies, is 'a strong believer in survey research' and will be actively involved in the company, according to President and CEO Beverly Weiman.

Until recently he served as chairman and CEO of ADVO, Inc., the US' largest direct mail microtargeting services company, with annual revenues of over $1 billion. Prior to this he was President and CEO of RKO/Six Flags Entertainment, Inc. and President and COO of Marketing Corporation of America. His previous career encompassed several key positions in the cosmetics industry, including and President and CEO of Max Factor, Inc. and President of Chanel Inc. and Christian Dior Parfums, Inc. He has also held senior marketing positions at Scott Paper Company, Dunkin' Donuts and Revlon.

Kamerschen currently sits on the board of public companies including RadioShack, IMS Health, R.H. Donnelley and MDC Partners. He also received the 10th anniversary corporate executive award from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He has a B.S. and M.B.A. from Miami University, Ohio.
