Global Youth Division for Synovate

Synovate's youth research units across the world have been organised into a new specialist division - Synovate YC - to be led by Senior VP Ian Pierpoint.

Pierpoint has more than 15 years' experience in research, planning and marketing on both client and agency sides, mostly specialising in youth culture. In 2000, he set up Vegas, a UK youth research agency, which was acquired by Synovate in 2004. In the same year, Pierpoint moved to Canada to head up the Americas Youth Research Division.

Pierpoint has presented at numerous conferences and has appeared on CNN, NBC as well as being a familiar face on Canada's Vicki Gabereau Show and MTV Canada.
