Success and Upgrade for Panel+

Online agency Vision Critical recently celebrated five years in business with the announcement of major new clients and the forthcoming launch of an upgraded version of its flagship Panel+ web survey software.

Panel+ 3.5 will feature a more dynamic user interface, new deployment functionality, expanded filtering, and greater data import & export control. The company's other core product, Fusion, offers a complimentary set of interactive visual tools for testing new products, ad campaigns and store environments.

In the last few months, the company has added five large clients, Virgin Mobile Canada, Nestle Purina, Bell Sympatico, CHUM Television and Corus Radio - all have chosen Panel+ as the system to develop, conduct and manage their customer advisory panels.

President and COO Andrew Reid launched the company in 2000, not necessarily an auspicious year for an online start-up, and says his aims included delivering a service 'to simulate retail based research using computers' and create a more lifelike virtual shopping experience for respondents. Today the company has 35 employees in Vancouver and Toronto.

Research industry icon and company CEO Dr. Angus Reid says VisionCritical has 'squeezed the functionality of a large research enterprise into a software system that is the most powerful in the business and at the same time the easiest and most intuitive to use'.
