Contract wins for BMRB

August 10 2005

UK agency BMRB will carry out the 2005 Childcare and Early Years Providers survey for the Department for Education and Skills, and will also contribute to the Health and Safety Executive's survey of workplaces. The agency has also been appointed to compile a panel of premium-brand consumers for Red Media.

The childcare survey has been carried out in previous years (most recently in 2002), and looks at the people who work in childcare, their qualifications and training. This year, it will also investigate childcare providers' income and they costs they incur. Fieldwork is currently underway, and the aim is to achieve around 4,500 telephone interviews.

The agency's work for the Health and Safety Executive will include a random survey of 11,000 working adults. The results will feed into the Executive's Workplace Health and Safety Survey (WHASS) programme.

Red Media, a media and communications agency specialising in the premium brand market, has commissioned BMRB to identify consumers of premium and luxury brands across nine product categories including food & drink, personal grooming, travel, home entertainment, clothing, finance and motoring. Red Media will then survey the media habits and attitudes of this panel, called Premium Knowledge, to plan media strategies for its clients.

BMRB's web site is at www.bmrb.co.uk .
