Observer Change Reflects Technology Focus

Robert Lundberg will step down as President of Swedish-based international business intelligence group Observer AB in February 2006 after 13 years in the role. The roles of President and CEO will be taken by Niklas Flyborg, currently in those positions at IT consultancy Mandator, reflecting in part the 'growing IT content' of the group's offering.

Lundberg, who turns 58 in early 2006, will remain at the company's disposal after stepping down as President. Flyborg will join Observer on January 2, 2006 and take over as CEO on February 10. örjan Håkanson, who remains Chairman of the Board, says Observer has 'a large, growing IT content in its services' which will enhance Flyborg's value to the company. 'This competence, coupled with the ability to lead a client-oriented, international organization focused on service development, makes us very pleased to have Niklas join us'.

Flyborg, who is 43 and has an economics degree from the Stockholm School of Economics, says his new employer's services for monitoring and evaluating clients' image and media imprint 'have very exciting future potential'. He adds that there is 'little doubt that the technological content of Observer's offering will grow'.
