New Surveys Monitor Sports Activities

UK sponsorship and sports research agency Sports Marketing Surveys has published a new series of sports reports, providing data, information and insights into seven key sports - cricket, football, golf, horse racing, rugby, sailing and tennis.

The Sports and Leisure Activity Monitor (SLAM) combines specific consumer research, media data and industry sources to provide a picture of interest levels, participation, sponsorship and media coverage.

Reports cost £250 plus VAT. More reports covering sports and leisure activities will be released during the year.

According to Simon Hoskins, Senior Marketing Manager of Premier Rugby: 'The data and analysis in the SLAM Rugby Report has played an integral part in our strategic planning. It is a very affordable way for a sporting body to get an independent and thorough understanding of their consumers.'
