SSI Offers Australian RDD Samples

February 13 2006

Survey Sampling International (SSI) is introducing Australia Random Digit (RDD) telephone samples to provide Australian researchers with easy access to a comprehensive telephone sampling frame. The samples are designed to provide fewer diallings and faster survey completion.

The sample database is balanced by population, and contains a do-not-call privacy purge feature. Samples can be selected nationally, by state (or territory), and/or by area code. Australia's Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMSRO) is currently lobbying for market research calls to be exempt from the federal government's plans for a Do Not Call register.

SSI International Account Manager, Valerie Jenkins, says the new product will allow researchers to 'sample the Australian telephone household population in an all-inclusive manner'.

SSI, which provides RDD samples in 21 countries, is online at www.surveysampling.com
