Changes for Elizabeth Norman in Australasia

March 3 2006

MR recruiter Elizabeth Norman International (ENI) has announced a number of changes to its office structure in Australasia, including the appointment of a new Managing Director and new larger offices in Australia, and enhanced SE Asian coverage.

The agency has recently appointed Julia Edwards as MD of the Australian office. Julia has worked for Elizabeth Norman before and more recently has been working for a leading search and selection practice in sales and marketing recruitment.

In addition, ENI will be sharing new larger Sydney offices with the international media consultants Carreras Lathane Associates, and will have access to the resources of i-search worldwide, the Singapore based executive search specialist, with offices throughout the region.

ENI owner Liz Norman told DRNO: 'There are two areas I'm particularly excited about, both reflected in these changes. One is Asia generally. We've been aware of the potential in Asian research for at least five years and now obviously it is booming, but without a base there it is very difficult to source candidates - especially now that more recruitment is local, rather than relying on ex-pats. Secondly, it's clear that there is major growth in media research - not just any media research, but media strategy and planning. We now have a lot more in-house expertise, as both i-search and Carreras Lathane recruit for these functions.'
